Community Based Learning with Local Meteorologist!

Our students recently had an exciting opportunity to learn about weather and science through a special school assembly led by Neda Iranpour from CBS News. During the engaging presentation, students listened to an interactive story about weather and used gross motor movements to bring concepts to life, helping them understand the differences between high-pressure and low-pressure systems in a fun, memorable way.

The experience was made even more special when our school community was featured on the CBS Morning News, highlighting our students’ enthusiasm and participation. This moment showcased not only the incredible learning happening on our campus, but also how hands-on, movement-based experiences can deepen understanding of concepts.

We are grateful for this unique partnership and the opportunity to inspire curiosity, spark interest in science, and create lasting memories for our students.
