At Cesar Chavez Elementary, our Community Schools funding is dedicated to creating meaningful learning experiences while supporting the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. These funds help us bring to life programs, activities, and resources that align with our school’s mission and reflect the needs and voices of our students, families, and staff.
Anyone—teachers, staff, parents, and community partners—may submit a funding request in support of this goal. Whether it’s for a cultural event, student wellness project, or enrichment opportunity, your ideas help build a stronger, more connected school community.
All funding requests will be presented to our school's Site Governance Team (SGT) for voting approval. Once voted on, the funding request will be submitted to the Community Schools director for final submission and grant funding.
