This term, all LC4 students will write and present a persuasive speech to their class under the theme of 'Discover.' One year 5 and one year 4 student from each class will be chosen to go through to the school competition in week 4.
Students will be taught about persuasive writing and public speaking techniques in class and will be expected to continue writing their speeches at home.
Speeches:
3 minutes long (within 30 sec)
Cue cards are acceptable
We will be judging:
speech construction
delivery
content
language
effectiveness
vocal techniques
