We work closely together to create a robust learning programme for our students and both hold high expectations for learning and behaviour.
LC4 students understand that, as kaitiaki, we are responsible for looking our earth and common home. As Christians, we are called to be responsible stewards of creation, united by a common concern for our planet and every living thing that dwells on it, especially the poorest and most vulnerable.
Since human arrival in New Zealand, at least 51 bird species, three frog species, three lizard species, one freshwater fish species, one bat species, four plant species, and a number of invertebrate species have become extinct.
Room 10 visited Tiritiri Matangi, one of NZ wildlife sanctuaries to learn more about our native birds and how we can protect and preserve them.

Room 10 students are learning about spelling patterns, grammar, sentence structure and vocabulary during their lessons in structured literacy.
Head over to Seesaw to view your child reading their 'pepeha.'
Check out Room 10's learning and celebration of Matariki. We made kites, did paper weaving and enjoyed a delicious hangi for lunch.
Each Monday lunch time, Room 10 and Room 2 will eat lunch together and spend time getting to know our soul friends.
