My assignment for this week is to design, simulate, and build a simple electronic device that performs two actions, my device is just fun to build as I choose "The Buzz Wire" as it will so much fun and joy to my kids and even to my students.
I googled and found these 2 pictures as source of my inspiration.
I'll use as a
Software:
1) Tinker Cad.
Materials:
1) Avo meter
2) Wire
3) glue gun
electronics :(DC Motor,Fan,Buzzer,9 V adaptor,jumpers,breadbord )
First I used TinkerCad in order to know how I'll connect the wires,Buzz and motor. after many tries I reached a successful connections as shown in the picture. the next step will be implement it to a real electronics. Video for Tinkercad Here.
I chose a cardboard, Hanger "I used the wired hanger" I split it into 2 parts one made as a loop and the other one zigzag shape. then I made a whole for the switch connect one end of the zigzag wire and the loop and switch with the electric circuit to be functional the purpose is when the loop touches the zigzag wire the buzz will make sound and I used 9 Volt as its stronger to run the buzzer and the DC motor. video Here.
Steps:
For +ve:
the power supply wires +ve connected to the +ve on the breadboard and the +ve of the buzzer connected to the +ve of the breadboard then the DC motor +ve connected to the +ve of the breadboard then connect the 2nd terminal of the buzzer with wire to the crocodile wire that connect 2 wires from the DC motor and from the buzzer to close the circuit. then connect to the wire buzz game.
For -ve:
the -ve connected to the switch button then connected the other terminal of the switch to the loop of the buzz wire game
After that I used the cardboard to hide all the wires and components and I fixed the wires as shown in the picture provided as will as the switch to turn on and of the video also provided and I mount the also the fan and DC motor.
Skitch for the electric circuit
I asked my instructors how helped me in understanding the wrong connection and the right ones as I've to consider that the wires considered as a second switch.
I tried these connections but unfortunately only the Buzz worked without the DC motor, I checked the connections and changed the position if the DC motor. and it worked. also I've to consider the wire of the buzzer as a switch.
Trying first using TinkerCad to check the best Connections
My Final Project
I learnt how to design a game and implement electronics in my projects which was really challenging , in my final project I'll use electronics in order to automate my design and to be functional. watch the final project video Here.
I learnt new aspects about electronics, and I won't forget how to make H-Bridge.
We had sumo car competition, we used H -bridge for electronics and Fusion 360 to design, we googled to get inspired with the bumper.
