I am a passionate STEM and Science educator, researcher, and lifelong learner. I graduated from the Faculty of Science and hold multiple diplomas, including a Biochemistry Diploma, a Total Quality Management Diploma from the American University in Cairo (AUC), and an Educational Diploma from Cairo University. Additionally, I completed the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) program at AUC and earned a PGCEi from Liverpool John Moores University. Currently, I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Environmental Biotechnology.
Throughout my journey, I have taken numerous courses, but the most transformative was the Maker Diploma, where I explored 3D design, electronics, and documentation. This experience deepened my understanding of hands-on learning and innovation, shaping my approach as an educator.
Beyond teaching, I have always been drawn to creativity and entrepreneurship. In 2017-2019, I launched my first business, Creato (Creative Toys), aiming to help children engage in storytelling and imaginative play using soft toys. This project encouraged kids to interact with stories, express their emotions, and shape their own narratives. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, I started Su’s Stencil – Ideas Never End, specializing in stencils for decoupage, cookie, cupcake, and cake decoration. I collaborated with various clients and even worked with La Poire, one of Egypt’s most renowned pastry brands, from 2020 to 2023.
Now, I balance my roles as a mother, educator, and researcher, always seeking new opportunities for learning and innovation. I look forward to the next adventure that fuels my passion for science, education, and creativity.
