In week 0 , the assignment was about creating about me for our maker journal including our picture, also we download fusion 360, RD Works and Cura Ultimaker.

We learned about the 3D printer, laser cutting machine, how to connect Arduino, and assembled our first electronic kit, the 'HitTheNumber! Game Kit.' We also printed a small robot and cut and engraved our first coaster as a test to see the machines in action.
what I can remember in 3D cura Ulti maker we learned about layer Hight, the standard is 2 if we make it lower that that it will be more defined but it will take more time.

First we searched using google to see different designs then we sketched the desired one as we combined two designs together , then we started to pick the right cardboards and draw on the top of them and cut and glue using the glue gun

Yes, I asked for feedback, and I realized after this project the importance of working as a team. You have limited time, and if you wish to succeed, you need to learn how to manage your time with your partner, as both of you need to divide the work.

When you got stuck, what/who did you turn to? At what point did you have to pause to research or learn more before moving on? What are some mistakes, pitfalls, or challenges that others can avoid if they were doing this assignment?
When I get stuck, I always turn to my helpful and understanding instructors who are very supportive. It is important to research, as you need to learn more about designing and see different designs from various perspectives. The mistake we made in our project, the smart lamp, was that we forgot to consider the direction of the infill. We corrected this by making the lower part thicker to increase its strength and support the heavy top.

Using my knowledge I've gained that week in encouraging my students to reuse the cardboards to create their own prototype as a way to save cost before making mass production and its kid of way to see and adjust the prototype where they can find some challenges and solve it in their prototype also I want to mention the importance of recycling as they should think about the environment and sustainability.

Learning techniques that help in creating projects out of cardboard, understanding the properties of cardboard with different thicknesses, and knowing how to use it properly, as you need to consider the direction of the infill

The funny thing that happened to me this week is that my headmaster asked me to be responsible for opening and closing the curtains of the theater during the winter show while I was working on my laptop backstage 😂
