Kinetic Facade
The Project idea is a kinetic responsive facade. Via a sensor, the facade will move accordingly, thus optimizing the user's experience and thermal comfort.
A kinetic facade addresses these problems by changing its form or configuration in real-time to optimize:
Solar shading
Daylight access
Natural ventilation
Visual comfort
The core idea is to design a modular facade composed of moving elements that react to enhance energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and aesthetic expression.
How Does It Work?
The kinetic facade functions as a second skin of the building, mounted externally and designed to continuously adapt based on real-time environmental data.
