Inspiration
This week's task is to design amazing glasses, made of a mixture of plastic using a 3D printer for the arms, and the front lens slots are made of wood using a laser cutter.
Some lines were inspired by the map of Palestine and the red triangle in this flag .

Ideation
I wanted to design glasses with different lines from the norm, whether circular or square. At this time, I was influenced by the Palestinian issue, so I decided that the lines of the glasses would be connotations and signals of resistance and rejection of events, through the lenses in the form of red triangles of resistance. Also, when you look at the arms of the glasses, you will find a map of Palestine.

Material : PLA filament

I used it to cut any model, as well as create orientation or place supports, and send the g code to the 3D printer
Fusion 360
i used it to create any concept in 3d modeling , put different materials , and render the model
Design / preparation process
1- I designed the glasses on fusion 360 software
2- I drew a sketch of the arm
3- I made an extrude with a distance of 4 cm
4- I drew the part that will have the assembly hole
5-I made an extrude for this part with a distance of 7 cm
6-i made small hole with diameter 3.2mm
7- I slice this on Cura software to print this Arms and i chosen best orientation
I slice it and preview it to see simulation layers and support
3- I reset some variables so that only 30 grams or less are used in a maximum time of 90 minutes
The variables are :
Resolution : Fine 0.15mm
Infill : 30 %
Support : no
Placement : Touching BuildPlate
Adhesion : no
4- save the changes into gcode file
Note : File name contained (Time_weight_infill density_layer height )

Laserwork
Use it to send DXF files to the laser cutter after specifying the lines that will be cut in different ways or making holes, engraving by controlling a set of numbers, whether speed or power.

Design / preparation process
1- open laserwork software and import your DXF file
2- select which parts you would like to cut with black color
3-Chose the power and speed for cut and scan parts
cut : speed ( 30 ) - power ( 65 )
5- save the file as an AI file to open in any device then download with rld extension

I used a 6mm bolt and nut

I inserted the screw into the hole, and on the other hand, I placed the nut and tightened it using a screwdriver

Challenges🥹
There was a challenge, which was not adjusting the size of the screw hole until it was far enough away from the sight arm, and therefore there was a problem when tightening the nut, and I used the pliers to tighten it.
