Assignment's idea for this week is Design, simulate, and build a simple electronic device that performs two actions.
My idea is to make a blender machine to blend Nescafe, Tea , ...etc, the machine will be power by electricity not batteries.
I like this idea because of my needs to make Nescafe and it is boring to blending cup using spoon. :)
my inspiration came from EDMARK FRAPPE MIXER in link below:-
https://videotronics.com.cy/product/edmark-frappe-mixer-100w
I used different Thing as below:-
A- Tinkercad to do simulation for the blender components.
B- Cutter, Glue gun and Carton to do the Machine model.
C- Bread board, wires, DC motor, Green Led, 5V adapter, ON-OFF button, 330 resistor and Jack Female DC Power.
D- Avometer.
A- The Process of making come as in the below steps:-
Estimate dimension of the design parts based on the electronics components and the final actions needed from machine.
Cut the carton based on defined dimensions.
Assembly the components on the breadboard.
Attach the components in the model.
Connect the electricity to adapter.
Glue the model to make it ready.
B- The process of simulating come as below:-
Open tinkercad website.
Log in the account.
Choose create circuits.
Add power supply, breadboard, led, resistor and DC motor to the work space.
Assemble all components together as the picture attached below.
Note:- the components "Led & DC motor" are connected together in parallel method to get the best performance of power usage, but the switch button connected in series method to be able to turn on-off all the circuits.
The Tinkercad design website : https://www.tinkercad.com/things/2slu11LEY3G
I used the tools as below:-
Used cutter to cut the cartons to make the parts of design.
Used Avometer to measure the volt and current in the circuit.
Used the resistor with the led to reduce the voltage.
Used the wire to connect all components together in the breadboard.
Used the adapter to supply power to the circuits.
Used Glue gun to weld the parts togther.
The challenge was create the parallel circuits to get the best performance of the DC motor and not effect the led lighting.
I did that by connect the Led & Dc motor on the positive + line but the Negative - line was separated on switch button.
The skills would help me to stand on how to assemble electronic parts together and how to use Avometer.
