El Malky ML1390 CO2 laser cutting machine
The pen holder consists of 6 different faces ; Base , front, back , middle , right side, and left side
The base shape of each face is a rectangle with its associate dimensions
Make draft design on canson paper to calibrate model dimensions and prepare joints
Using fusion 360 and repeat the following steps for each face:
1- Create component
2- Create sketch
3- Draw rectangle , set dimensions , and add tabs
4- Extrude 3 mm
Between front and base , create T-slot to provide strong fixation.
Between all other faces , use finger joint
Assemble the 6 bodies according to the initial design using best pivots to align.
Install program "save DXF for laser cutting"
Select each face and save as dxf for laser cutting using "Create" menu

Import the dxf files inside " Laser works"
Adjust settings; speed 220m/s , power = 55
Save files as rld
Copy files to machine
Set origin and location of MDF sheets
Set fram and track
Then start
Problem #1:
Description : After printing the 6 sheets of pen holder, I found that they are not matched together.
Solution : I returned to the file ,I discovered that I printed old (not updated) file , so, in future I should check files before printing
Problem #2:
Description : Kit faces were not fixed strongly
Soltuion : T-solt should have been used between all faces.

It was a great filling after I saw my design appear to the world
