Download (Gnome 3d model) *.STL File from an opensource CAD library (ameede.net)

Open that file on the Program ( Ultimaker Cura)
Make edits; scale down the model size and make slice
Save the file as *.gcode

Download *.DFX File from an opensource CAD library (dezin.info)

Open that file on the Program ( Laser WorkV6)
remove extra items and keep Toyota logo only.

For laser cutter :
Import the file to the computer of laser cutter
Download the .rdl file to the machine
Place the wood on machine
Choose the start point
It took 19 sec
Machine settings:
Speed 220 mm/s for scan
Cut on 30 Speed 55 Power
For the 3D printing
Rename *gcode file
Insert card reader which contains .gcode into the machine.
preheat the bed and the nozzle to change filament
select the right heat for the (extruder 215- bed 60)
wait until it reaches the temperature
pull the old filament and add the new one
select the file and print it

Problem # 1 (3D printing):
Description: The support was hardly removed from the model
Reason: Due to the small size of the model
Support : I did not need support , I observed the problem by myself .
Solution : Do not use the support option unless it is needed and the model does not have base.
Problem # 2 (Laser cut):
Description: Hing hall was missing from the main design
Support : Eng.Bassant advised to add it directly to the "Laser work " program.

A- I got familiar with laser cut machine and 3D printer and I had hands on them and I can reuse this experience while making my final project.
B- I got the skill of how to set laser cut machine ; proper speed and power setting
C. I learnt the difference between files extensions and how to save files with the suitable format so the machine can accept.
D.I have downloaded and used different softwar required for laser cut and 3D printing
