Week #2 - Journal

My challenge this week is two make a mobile holder.

This holder is very important to me as I use my phone alot so I want not to hand it while watching,

So I search for simple design to help me and i can us it.(https://www.instructables.com/Laser-Cut-Phone-Stand-1/ )

1. Search for simple design than match my phone size

2. Make a cardboard prototype to check the size

3. go to fusion and make the design with these dimensions and make sure the parts assembly well.

4. Use project tool on fusion to detect the final sketch and save it at dxf file.(More details in Community of Learning Question )

5. Use LasrWork software to handle the file.dxf and prepare it to download on machine

• the steps

1. Installations the sheet well with yellow sticky paper

2. focus

3. handle file of tea coaster with mobile holder to save the sheet from waste

4. Download then go to machine and follow the manual.

• to be more familiar about the other photos which is present the steps you should check the manual of the machine that I mentioned at tool chain question.

• Watching carefully the process till it finished then.

I learned tool on fusion called project.

it helpsme alot as laser cutter understand construction line as a solid line so to avoid this happen you can make new sketch and create project and select the sketch you want to cut it on laser then save this new sketch as dxf file
