The assignment for this week is making Mobile Holder with Screw and Nuts.
I searched in google to find a design that I could draw in Fusion 360 Then fabricated by laser cutter , So I chose this shape And I adjusted it a little bit to suit the requirements, including having T Slot

I will use "Laser Work" to edit and set parameters of the "dxf file".
"For Design"
I used "Fusion 360" to design the mobile holder.

Plywood
Screw and Nuts to install the parts together
"FUSION 360" Software and laser works: 4 processes
created a new design file.
created a new sketch.
I chose ( front plan for part 1) (top plan for part2)
Started drawing and made the sketch a fully defined one .
finished sketch.
selected sketch.
extrude it with 3.2 mm thickness same as plywood.
save it as a component.
used joint to assemble the 2 parts.
extracted dxf files from sketches.
edited them to be ready to open on laser works.
opened files with dxf extension and open it directly on the laser works to set the cutting parameters :

Switching the logo from PNG to DXF also writes under the logo
saved the rd file to send to the machine
I will download the rld file with I have extracted from laser works and get ready to start the fabrication process on the laser cutting machine.

I went to the lab and added my RLD file to the Laser Cutter computer, I did make sure that everything is ok and downloaded the file to the machine.
On the machine control, I did set the origin, checked the focus and selected my file to track, then I did a run order.
I did start to assemble the parts by using Screws and nuts

Israa helped me solve some of my program problems, such as making the skitch fully defined, and amany helped me solve other problems, such as converting PNG to DXF through a program called convertio.
I helped GHAZALY with some of the things for the first week such as downloading rd works and cura and how to use them and how to download pictures to cut and print them
A real challenge for me was how to adjust the sizes of the phone holder and calculate the angle of the slope, and amany she suggested that I make a prototype of the carton to adjust it.
I've learned how to use a program to create a 3D version of my project, and it's also taught me a way to make sure that all the penalties are tied together equally to allow the task to be done.
The coolest thing is that I lead this process from design to a final product.
I finally get used to 3d programs to design other than my love Solidworks .
At first I learned a new program and I drew on it several things like the car.
and in monday's session Hussein and I formed a team and we executed and painted Spinner on a program
And on Saturday, IAM , Doaa and Ghazali formed a team, and we drew a four-sided chair and executed it on a program as we did on the laser cutter.
