adjustable phone holder
i wanted to make adjustable phone holder , and i can use it for my ipad as well
i searched a lot in google and i found some easy holder and other advanced so i decided to make an advanced one inspired from some holders that i found and i wanted challenge myself in using fusion 360

i used fusion 360 to design my holder pieces then i made joints
and assemble the pieces then will export the sketches as dxf files
then import it in laserworks software to adjust the laser cutting settings
then i 'll use the laser machine to cut the material which is 3mm plywood

my design has 4 parts
1- base 2-hinges 3- phone holder 4- front & back supports
it contain 3 types to joints
i started by drawing sketches of each part , then i extrude each one to 3 mm to a new component then i made the joints
after that i exported the sketches to dxf files
and imported it into laserwork to adjust the laser cutting settings

i imported the dxf files into laser work then i set the power to 70 and the speed 20
and unfortunately that was failed try because problem in the wood it self
2nd try i imported only the broken parts from 1st cut then cut it again . and it went well without any problem

after cutting 1st time i found a problem in the wood sheet , it like the layers separated from each other . so i tried again in different area and it worked good , " i reached my solution by fablab specialist help "

i learned how to draw a sketch on fusion 360 then how to convert it to 2.5 shape and make joints and test the movement of each one . and export them into dxf files and cut it successfully
