Design a model of a pen and pencil holder

I was interested in this idea because it is simple and can be implemented using the tools I learned this week

Model 1

1- I Started Designing Sketch 1 in Top Plane

I Drew a Circle with a Diameter of 80 mm, then I Drew a Polygan with 6 Sides and a Side Length of 16 mm

Then I Repeated the Polygan with Circular Pattern

2- Create an Offset Plane 15mm away from the Top Plane

3- I Designed Sketch 2 with the same Dimensions as Sketch 1

4- I used the Loft Command to make an Extrude between the two Surfaces of Polygan at the Bottom and Top with a change of Angle between them by 45 Degrees

5- I used the Shell Command to make a vacuum in the body with a Thickness of 1 mm

6- Repeat the Body using Circular pattern

7- I made an Extrude for the big circle in Sketch 1 with a value of 2 mm and I chose to be the join process

8- Save the file in STL format

Model 2

1- I started designing Sketch 1 in Top Plane

I draw a circle with a diameter of 50 mm, then I draw a circule with a diameter of 15 mm

Then I repeated the circular pattern with 7 circles

2- Create an Offset Plane 30mm away from the Top Plane

3- I designed Sketch 2 with the same dimensions as Sketch 1

4- I used the Loft command to make an extrude between the two surfaces of the circules at the bottom and top, changing the angle between them

5- I used the Shell command to make a vacuum in the cylindrical body with a thickness of 1 mm

6- Repeat the body using circular pattern

7- Sketch 3 was designed to make a pencil holder

Draw a circle from an orgin point with a diameter of 50mm and another circle with a diameter of 20mm

8- I made an Extrude of the surface connecting the two circles in sketch 3 with a value of 2 mm and I chose to be the join operation

8- Save the file in STL format

1- I opened the design in Quora

2- I started adjusting the settings

mm3= Layer Height quality

Infill = 10%

3- I chose the slices command and then I saved the Gcode file

4- I transferred the file to the device using the memory card, then I pressed the print command

After printing the Model 1

The problem arose that the diameter of the holes is too wide

This causes the pens to fall off and the height of the pen holder is short

So I designed 2. Model

to solve the previous problem

Before starting to design anything, I must measure the dimensions of the tools that will be used later

So that there is no waste of time or materials
