2- Describe the project idea and general features. How would it work?

The Project is a Game Consisting of a Box Containing an Analog Clock with an Hour hand and a Minute hand

Also, an LCD Screen, a Push Button, an Audio Speaker, LEDs, and a Buzzer

The Screen Displays a Random Digital Clock value for the Child to interact with and Move the Clock Hands with his Hand

And then Press the Push Button

If the Answer is correct, “Good Job” appears on the Screen

The Sound of applause comes out and the Group of LEDs Light up in Green

If the Answer is Wrong, the phrase “Try Again” appears on the Screen

and get out and Buzzer and LEDs light up in Red

3- Sketch your project: You may use pen and paper or a simple sketching tool like Microsoft Paint or Photoshop

Project Planning

4- Describe the Technical Modules that your project consists of

Construction Parts

The External Structure is Made of Poly Wood, the Thickness is 3mm

The External Structure will be Designed using Fusion360

It will be Manufactured using a laser cutting machine

The clock will be made of PLA

The design will be done using Fusion360

It will be manufactured using a 3D printer

Input

(Sensing, Tactile Input, and/or Graphical Input)

(2 Push Button , 2 Potentiometer, Switch ON/OFF)

  • PushBotton Start Gives a Signals to the Arduino to generate questions with random time values

  • PushBotton Finish Gives a Signal to the Arduino to Compare the Entered Answer with the Previously Stored Answer

  • Potentiometer Hour Gives a Signal to the Arduino by the Value of moving Hour Hand

  • Potentiometer Minute Gives a Signal to the Arduino by the Value of moving Minute Hand

  • Switch ON/OFF Gives a Signal to the Arduino To turn on or off the LCD

Action

(Physical and/or Graphic)

( LCD , LEDs , Audio Speaker , Buzzer )

    • LCD Screen Displays Random Time Value

    • LCD screen displays the question

    • LCD screen display "Winner" When the answer is correct

    • LCD screen Displays "loser" When the answer is incorrect

    • Red LEDs is shining When the answer is incorrect

    • The Green LEDs is shining When the answer is correct

    • AudioSpeaker encouraging sound comes out When the answer is correct

    • a Buzzer encouraging sounds When the answer is incorrect

5- Create a cardboard prototype of your project, demonstrating the project face as well as internal movements and mechanisms. Include a demo video and photos of the prototype.

6- Categorize your project’s User Features into: Minimum, Complete, and Nice-to-have features. List the required action and input components per feature.

  • Minimum Features: are the least amount of features that would demonstrate the coverage of all the technical modules and their complete integration

  • Complete Features: are the set of features that will complete your original project objective and vision

  • Nice-to-have Features: are the extra set of features that will make the project cooler, yet they need extra time, effort, and/or resources to finish

Minimum User Features

  1. The LCD screen displays the question Are you ready?
When the user presses the Switch ON

    • Graphical Action: LCD screen displays the question

    • Sensing: No

    • User Input: Switch ON

  2. LCD Screen Displays Random Time Value

When the user Presses the Push Button Start

  • Graphical Action: LCD screen Displays Randam Time Value

  • Sensing: No

  • User Input: Push Button Start

  1. The Green LEDs is shining

And displayed on the LCD screen "Winner"

When the answer is correct and the user presses the push button

Graphical Action: LCD screen Displays "Loser"

Physical Action : The Green LEDs is Shining

  • Sensing: No

  • User Input: Push Button , Move The Potentiometer

4.The Red LEDs is shining

And displayed on the LCD screen "Loser"

When the answer is incorrect and the user presses the push Button Finish

Graphical Action: LCD screen Displays "loser

Physical Action : the Red LEDs is Shining

  • Sensing: NO

  • User Input: Push Button Finish , Move The Potentiometer

Complete User Features

  1. When the answer is correct, an encouraging sound comes out using a ِAudioSpeaker...

    • Physical Action: encouraging sound

    • Sensing: No

    • User Input: Push Button Finish ,Move The Potentiometer

  2. When the answer is incorrect, a Buzzer sounds

    • Physical Action: a buzzer sounds

    • Sensing: NO

    • User Input: Push Button Finish ,Move The Potentiometer

Nice-to-have User Features

  • When the answer is correct, an audio recording comes out with the value of the time
