my inspiring cup
pencil holder inspired from the glass cup.
cura for preparing and edit design before printing (slicing)
I used Autodesk Fusion 360 for sketching the designs
PLA filament
This is PRUSA i3 MK2 3D Printer. for printing the design
select sketch on XY plane and draw a polygon
Select offset plane on the same axis height nearly 20mm and select new sketch on it the draw a polygon. Note rotated the polygon to give the shape.
Repeat this step twice.
lofting for all planes.
filet for all edges.
add some color.
ASMAA SAIED mention that we can choose parameter called Special modes, Spiralize outer contour in Cura
this feature perfect but the design will be printed with a very thin wall.
edit some parameters like
quality .015
infill 20
then save as gcode ant transfer into printer.

note the thickness of the wall.
At design stage on fusion I can't make rotate for upper side to twist the shape. I think because the shape fully constrain so I made another design and edited the polygons make them different in size also doesn't twist. So I made my third design with anther way without twisted or rotated
Here the upper and lower polygons are different in size
In the printing process I did not find the beautiful PLA color for me, I searched until I found this beautiful blue color.
this is not the end of the story because the blue color was moisturizing and easily broken
Here's the first design, the upper and lower polygons are identical
Each project on fusion makes me more familiar with it and this certainly helps me design the final project
