The assignment for this week is to design a model of mobile holder using fusion 360 and fabricate it using the laser cutting machine.
In the first session of the week I designed a mobile holder using the cardboard.

I used the card board to make a model of the mobile holder so I could imagine the dimensions
I used Fussion360 to draw and sketch the design so i could export it as a DXF file-.
Finally I used the laser work to get the final rld file.

After seeing a lot of recorded videos:
I drew the design on a cardboard so I could imagine it.
I sketch my own design using Fusion360:
- The back and front part : I drew the right half of the parts on X- Z plan and by using mirror option I can complete the other symmetric part then I added the T slot that I have already drew in a previous project .
- The base part : I drew the lower half part and by using the mirror option I completed the shape.
I have to make sure that its fully defined.
Extrude the parts as components with 3 mm
I collected the parts by joints to make sure that the all parts are fit together.
Then I exported the file as a DXF file.
Using a laser work program I make some modifications like adding my name and another picture that I downloaded as a DXF. file.

By the help of fab lad specialist I modified some the power and speed.
I have to make sure that the focus is adjusted.
I downloaded the file to the laser cutting machine.
I adjust the origin of the machine.

I faced some problems during the installing of Fusion 360.
I get help from the instructors and my friends and repeat the step again until I could do that.
I faced some problems during the practicing and buy more practicing and working in groups I could overcome all of these issues and learn new things.
I opened the laser work problem and surprised that the language is changed. By the help of E/ Basant I could change it again in to English.

For the final project I could draw my own design using fusion 360.

we made a mistake during working after we finished the design on fusion 360 on laser work program we enlarge the design and this makes the dimensions changed so it wasn't fit to to the size of the nails.
so I learnt from this mistake and I am not going to repeat it again.
I learn how to insert a text on the design in laser work software and could write my name on the design.
