Prusa i3 mk3
Ii used fusion 360's new features
i learned during the week
The material is PLA white color
also used Ultimaker cura to prepare the design for printing
with the 3d printer Prusa i3 mk3
firstly I practiced and applied what I learned during the week in these designs
FOR the holder i drew that scketch and extruded it the used extruded cut and offcet to give it the final shape
then with ultimaker cura i prepared the file to be printed and saved it as g code
I edited this design to be able to print it to be like the photo below
this design is insbired by islamic art when the light headed to it it gives wonderful shape
i started by drawing this sketch
then i revolved it to be like that then i used shell feature
then used circular pattern to have this shape
i added a constraction under the body like ike that
i drew a circle
and used loft
i checked the support and made it for only the parts that touch the plade also added adhesion
i made the infill 20% and the profiles 0.2
i the new features i have learned on fusyon 360 during the week like revolve inspect and all other features
i uploaded the g code on an sd card then uploaded it to the printer i changed the fillement into white color and started printing
the printing took about 75 minitues and the model was 10 grams
during end of week session i worked with one of my peers(Mariem) on the lego man i was giving her instructions in how to draw its parts we drew the head and the troso together
also the team helped me to understand an solve the proplem i faced below
I faved a proplem when i used the intersect feature in fusion 360 I couldn't understand how to merge the bodies into one body again even when I did like the videos using extruded in one surface so i asked the instructor mego he explained it to me again and when I focused in why it doesn't work with me I found out that the surface was circular a little bit so i couldn't extrude it
Also i faced another proplem or i'll say i made a mistake that firstly i scaled the model in ultimaker cura which made the thickness very thin but fortunately i realized that and edited it on fusion 360
what i learned will help me in forming parts for 3d printing in the final project
how to add motion to the joints in this Fidget/Stress relieving Object
this lego man was very cool thing i did during the week
this pen holder i made in the hands on activity
