MISSION STATEMENT
SUSC is established to provide ongoing education, professional development, teambuilding activities, and provide a forum for University community. The Council promotes a professional and collegial environment for all University staff members based on equality and respect. The SUSC serves as an advisory body to the President and other University administrators.
MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT
The Sampoerna University Staff Council (SUSC) is composed of individuals elected by their peers to give staff a voice in University governance. Staff, as much as any member of the SU community, play a critical role in helping us to achieve our mission. SU is committed to creating an inclusive, transparent environment where all of our major constituent groups are represented. Through the SUSC, staff have an opportunity to express their views and opinions directly to the President and have a voice in University Governance. And, equally important, the Head of the SUSC is a permanent, voting member of the University’s primary governing body---the University Executive. SUSC is charged with providing professional development and morale-building activities for the entire SU Community.
Together, we can foster an environment that not only embraces inclusivity but thrives on the diverse contributions of all our members. I encourage each of you to engage actively with the SUSC, share your insights, and take part in our collective journey toward excellence. MESSAGE FROM SUSC CHAIR
I am honored to be elected as the first Sampoerna University Staff Council (SUSC) Chair for the next two years. I want to thank the council members for their trust in me and hard work in achieving SUSC's missions.
The SU Staff Council is dedicated to cultivating a vibrant and engaged workforce, recognizing that our staff are the backbone of our organization. Our mission revolves around maintaining high morale through the implementation of professional development activities that not only enhance skill sets but also foster a sense of belonging and purpose among our team members. By offering diverse opportunities for growth and learning, we strive to empower our staff, enabling them to reach their fullest potential and contribute effectively to our collective goals.
In addition to promoting professional growth, the Staff Council serves as a vital link between the staff and the organization. We are committed to actively listening to the concerns and suggestions of our colleagues, ensuring that their voices are heard and valued.
Together, we aim to create an inclusive culture that celebrates diversity, improve professional development, fosters engagement, and drives our organization forward. By fostering a sense of belonging and shared purpose, we not only enhance staff satisfaction but also contribute to the overall success and sustainability of our organization.
