Her ability to blend different genres together and create music that is emotive and catchy should not be missed. I hope that I influenced you to listen to some of her music.

A bird hopped off a tree
a leaf fell onto me
The grass dies slowly
fall is here
birds are flying in the sky
The breeze is cold
Oh, it looks like it is going to snow
The snow comes down fast
I go inside
To watch the snow fall
Oh, look it stopped
I go to get my family
Time to play in the snow

Christopher Edwin Breaxu, known mostly by his stage name Frank Ocean, is an American singer, songwriter and rapper. Frank Ocean was born on October 28, 1987, in Long Beach, California. Frank Ocean grew up in New Orleans, but he moved to California again to start his career in music.
Frank Ocean’s career started off with ghostwriting (ghostwriting is the act of one person writing in the name of another person without credit) for pop stars such as Justin Beiber, John Legend and Beyonce in 2009. He then joined the band “Odd Future” in 2010 and soon after that he started gaining fame when he released a mixtape of his own music in 2011.
Some people may not be familiar with Frank Ocean and some are. Frank Ocean’s music can be about different things like falling in love, falling out of love, loneliness, recovery, addiction, life after natural disasters, sexuality, relationships, and occasionally religion. People may enjoy his music for this reason, and his music can be relatable to those who go through these things.
Frank Ocean’s music has thoughtful lyrics and can even tell stories well. Frank Ocean’s last album titled “Blonde,” which was released 7 years ago, remains his most popular and favorite album by fans, and this album features songs that provide examples of his thoughtful lyrics.
In my opinion Frank Ocean is an amazing artist, and he is one of my favorite artists. I think that people should try and listen to one of his songs. Frank Ocean’s music makes me happy and I enjoy listening to his music when I study, when I go for walks, or really anytime I do something by myself. Frank Ocean’s music helps me relax and escape whatever is going on around me. One of my favorite songs by Frank Ocean is titled “Ivy.” I enjoy listening to this song because it reminds me of memories I have of the past. It brings me back to that happy memory anytime I listen to it.
I think Frank Ocean is the perfect artist to listen to since many people experience the things he has made songs about. Although he hasn’t put anything new out recently, he still has many amazing songs. Here is a link to the song I mentioned: Frank Ocean - Ivy and here is another link to Blonded.

As you may have heard, the seventh-graders here at Waldo now have a new bathroom rule where you can only use the bathroom once in a class period every week. Personally, for me, this is just RAGE-INDUCING! How are the teachers going to control when WE have to go to the bathroom! I decided to interview two students and one teacher to ask what they think of the new rule.
#1 (This student has asked to remain anonymous.)
Q: How do you personally feel about the bathroom rule?
A: It might be okay for the teachers, but it might be holding the students back.
Q: Do you have any examples of how this has affected or could affect you or other students?
A: It wouldn't necessarily affect me because I don't use the bathroom a lot, but it could be bad for other students because what if you just really really need to go?
Q: Do you think this rule is something that teachers or adults in general would be able to stick to if they had this rule at their jobs?
A: Maybe? Teachers don't use the bathroom in the class period, but who knows? I mean they could extend it to two times a week because once is kind of brutal.
#2 (This student has asked to remain anonymous.)
Q: How do you personally feel about the bathroom rule?
A: I am not really happy about it. I mean, I get it… it's for the good but…
It is pretty unfair to others who didn't cause it to happen.
Q: Do you have any examples of how this has affected or could affect you or other students?
A: If one day you went to the bathroom in one specific class then had to go the next day and it's an emergency then… it could lead to an accident especially with women when they're on their periods.
Q: Do you think this rule is something that teachers or adults in general would be able to stick to if they had this rule at their jobs?
A: Possibly. Don't get me wrong, but adults are easier to deal with when it comes to this stuff. I'm not really sure, but that's what I think.
#3 Ms. Cabrera
Q: How do you personally feel about the bathroom rule? Do you agree with it?
A: Well, as a teacher, the first bathroom rule we had was one bathroom pass per class. At first I didn't like it because we have two bathrooms. One is for girls and one is for boys, but then the same students in every class wanted to use the bathroom every day. I really appreciated the one pass per class new rule. I thought it would be unfair, but then I saw it play out. Students were still using the bathroom, but it was less frequent.
Q: Do you have any examples of how this has affected or could affect students?
A: I've seen students use the restroom less, but I’ve also seen students asking to use it. Now I have students asking please even if they've already gone, so it's been hard giving them more than one per class. I want to stick to the rule, but I know students need to use the bathroom.
Q: Do you think this rule is something that teachers (like you) or adults in general would be able to stick to if they had this rule at their jobs?
A: If I had this rule at my job, I would not like it because i don't know when I might need to use the bathroom or take a break. I could try to do the one time pass per shift/class, but it would be a challenge for me. I would like longer passing time or breaks because as a new teacher I was not used to five-minute passing periods. I had to change my bathroom schedule and I had to take a break before classes so that I could teach.
Writer's note: In general, some of our school's bathroom rules are just cruel. For instance, the rule noting that if you're tardy you can not go to the bathroom for the rest of the class period is cruel. When the bathrooms are closed you're going to be late to class.

Q- What's something you like about your job?

Q- If you could have any other job in the world what would it be?

Deftones is an American alternative metal band formed in Sacramento, California, in 1988. They were formed by Chino Moreno, Stephen Carpenter, Abe Cunningham, and Dominic Garcia and later joined keyboardist Frank Delgado in 1999.
The band's experimental nature has led some critics to describe them as "the Radiohead of Metal". Deftones has released nine albums; their songs are fantastic and it gets you in a mood. Deftones had come out with their debut album called “Adrenaline” in 1995. I have a couple of favorites like the song “Bored.” This song has a metal edge without being extremely heavy. Chino’s vocals are great. I absolutely love it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WdYo3WlETY
Another song that I love from this album is called “7 words.” This is a song that Chino wrote when he was just 16 years old. He said that it was probably one of the angriest songs he had written. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tu-P5IozdeI
Deftones managed to gain a dedicated fan base through word of mouth. Their second album “Around the Fur” was released in 1997. It reached chart positions along with its singles, and it became the band's first to receive certification from the RIAA. “Around the fur” is my favorite album from them. One of the songs I recommend and love is “Mascara.” In my opinion, this song might be about a toxic relationship. However, they continue to love each other like nothing is going on. Chino’s vocals sound incredible and seductive and it’s perfect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XhCBruock0E
Another one of my favorites is “Lhabia.” The lyrics are incredibly cryptic. Chino’s vocals are beautiful and whispering in the lyrics are perfection. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNE9Sp4J7UE The band found even further success with their third album “White Pony.” Released in 2000 which saw a transition away from their earlier, more aggressive sound into a more experimental direction. It’s lead single "Change (In the house of flies)" is the band's most commercially successful single, and the track "Elite" won a grammy award for best metal performance; it was also the band's first of three albums to be certified platinum in the United States. I recommend these songs because they are great! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPpDyIJdasg
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BDeGSXVDihk
Hopefully this introduction to Deftones gives you a good idea about what type of music they play. They are one of my favorite bands, and you should definitely check Deftones out.

ADOFAI ( a-dough-fI.) AKA “A Dance Of Fire And Ice” is a STEAM game. ADOFAI is a game that you can buy on Steam, but it's cheaper than the likes of Cities Skylines II. The prices are super high, like ten times the price, maybe because it's newer, but the first City's Skylines are $29.99, and Cities Skylines II are $49.99, but ADOFAI is $4.99. It is cheaper than those games.
Devices
You can play it on all devices except for Play Station 5 or Xbox. You can play on a PC with steam, mobile, or by downloading it on Play Store (IOS only).
Gameplay
ADOFAI is a rhythm game where you have to click or tap on a beat. When you first start there is a tutorial that is actually really fun. The game may not look exciting at first, but when you get into the game more you feel a challenge that you want to beat. It then leads to you playing and enjoying the game more.

Christmas, the snow comes down

We all hop around with glee
Christmas carols are sung all over the streets
Christmas is filled with love and joy, families are sitting around the trees.
Christmas is celebrated in so many ways

Some families don't even celebrate it

Demon Days is the second studio album by the British virtual band Gorillaz. It was released on May 11, 2005, in Japan and May 23, 2005 in the United Kingdom. The release was by Parlophone in the UK and in the United States by Virgin Records.
I enjoy several songs from this masterpiece. The first song is called “Kids with Gunz.” This song is about kids, non-prescription drugs, and weapons. Bad parenting, am I right? But it's a good song to recommend!
The next song is called “El Manana.” Now this song is my favorite. I love this song so much. This song kinda describes the future or the mourning or a loss of hope and heartbreak, but It’s really relaxing. I recommend this song.
The third song is “November Has Come,” and this song just describes how quickly time passes. This song also features MF DOOM (Rest in Peace).
The fourth song is called “Every Planet We Reach is Dead!” Now this song is about feeling lost and helpless when trying to make something of your life. But it's a good song that I recommend!
The last song I'll be reviewing is called “Dirty Harry.” Now this song's lyrics are a commentary on the impact of guns and violence on society and a need for action to be taken. It is worth thinking about.

Radiohead is an English rock band formed in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, in 1985. They include Thom Yorke, the brothers Jonny Greenwood and Colin Greenwood, and Philip Selway. They are an awesome band with good songs. I'll be reviewing four songs that I enjoy from this band. You might like them too.
The first song that I will be reviewing is called “Blow Out,” This song sounds like someone resigning themselves to their slow collapse. For example, Thom sang, “I am fused just in case I blow out.” It is a good song that I recommend.
The next song is called “Creep” and this is one of their most popular songs. It's played a lot to the point they don’t want to play the song in live shows anymore. It is a song about trying to be your ideal self. Thom sings, “But I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo.” It is about self-loathing; I recommend this song.
The third song is called “Karma Police.” This song is about fate and how it will always catch up to you. It advises you to not seek revenge because karma will come to you. The song is good.
The last song recommendation is called “Just.” This song is about someone who is self-destructive and I have a feeling that the singer (Thom) is talking about a friend who feels so guilty about something that it hurts. It's great!
I hope this music review of the band Radiohead will get you into their music and you will learn a lot more about them. Check them out!

One musical artist who you might dig is Jazz Ishmael Butler, also known by the names, Yung bruh, Yung dude Souljawitch, Yung Karma, Tracy Minaj and Lil Tracy etc. But he’s mostly known by the name Lil Tracy.
Lil Tracy was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on October 3, 1995. He started making music when he was 15. Tracy is best known for his collaborations with his best friend Lil Peep, specifically the song "Awful Things" which peaked at 79 on the Billboard Hot 100, and for being a prominent member of the "SoundCloud Rap" an underground rap scene.
Lil tracy was inspired by classic rock music as well as rap artists like Chief Keef and Soulja Boy. His unique style of rap-singing has been compared to fellow rappers like Drake and Travis Scott.
Lil tracys top albums are, “Castles”, “XOXO”, “Castles II”, “Anarchy” etc. His most hit song is “Your favorite dress” which featured Lil peep in the song. Some songs I would recommend are: white tee witchblades, castles, pain samsung love hard flippin
In general, I would recommend basically all of his songs.

There is a great singer who you should check out, and Laufey Lín Bīng Jónsdóttir is her full name; she prefers just Laufey (lay-vay) . She calls her fans laufers as a cute nickname. She achieved prominence in the early 2020s for her success as a jazz artist, with critics noting that her jazz-inflected songs have received considerable success for a genre that has largely declined commercially. With her 2020 debut single “Street by Street,” Laufey caught the attention of industry icons like Billie Eilish, Willow Smith, V of BTS and Dodie, propelling her into the spotlight with a force that cannot be ignored. Her music is a captivating blend of contemporary jazz and pop that transcends generations. Her distinctive fashion style merges seamlessly with her artistry too.
Laufey's music is very energetic yet very calming . Laufey performed as a cello soloist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra at age 15. Her most popular songs this year were From The Start and Valentine for their sense of romance. Her debut album Bewitched – which has broken the all-time record for biggest debut for a jazz album on Spotify in history – is a milestone in Laufey’s musical journey and a testament to her artistry.
She showcases a mature songwriting style and sophisticated production in her new work, delving deeper into her jazz and classical roots while maintaining an organic sound – a creative process that she describes as “so fun.” She was born April 23,1999 in Reykjavík, Iceland. During recent years, she has gained over 18.9 million people across the globe.

If you like nu-metal, or any music like that, one band I highly recommend is Static-X. Starting to form as a band in 1994, to releasing their first album ‘Wisconsin Death Trip’ in 1999, their music made a huge impact on the nu-metal scene and what it is today. With Wayne Static being the front man and lead of the band, his role in the band led them to a huge success.
The band's debut album ‘Wisconsin Death Trip’ is what really put them up there in being one of the most iconic nu-metal bands of 90s-2000s. Their attitude in their music and performances really is what attracted people to them. Another attractor would definitely be the sounding of their songs and the enthusiasm of Wayne Static. For being a pretty wild looking dude, people loved him. One of their best music videos and songs from ‘Wisconsin Death Trip’ would definitely have to be ‘I’m With Stupid.’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqiVvOXotyw Their top song from ‘Wisconsin Death Trip’ which ended up being their overall top song is ‘Push it’. I really like the music video for this song as well, I think it’s cool and well made for how old it is. Static-X - Push It (Official Music Video) | Warner Vault
After releasing 6 more full albums later on in their career, Wayne Static sadly passed away on November 1st, 2014. It had an effect on everyone who listened to and loved the band, as well as the other members. They still continued to make music and do shows without him, but it wasn’t the same. It didn’t have the same enthusiastic and energetic vibe Wayne Static showed in the songs through his voice. The total albums released with Wayne static are:
‘Wisconsin Death Trip’-1999
‘Machine’-2001
‘Shadow Zone’-2003
‘Beneath…Between…Beyond…’-2004
‘Start a War’-2005
‘Cannibal’-2007
‘Cult of Static’-2009
