Supplies needed:
This class is offered as a 3 credit dual enrollment class with Seton Hall. Please see Guidance for information, cost, and registration deadlines.
I hope you plan to take the AP Biology Exam in May-see me for review materials.
You will need to decide on your own style of note taking and what works for you in this class. The following are simply suggestions for needed school supplies:
***** you will need....A bound composition notebook with grid lines (like graph paper) inside. The lighter the grid lines, the better! These are the ones that are black and white marbled on the outside and all completely bound (not spiral bound). These can be purchased for under $2 at Staples when on sale. If you cannot find one with graph paper lines, see me.
1. A 3 ring binder (or folder) for some class handouts. These will be hole punched and will need to be kept organized. My favorite binders are the 1 or 1 1/2 inch with rubber reinforced edges from Staples. They are very sturdy and well worth the cost. You may alternately choose to use a simple folder although it will get very full.
2. A supply of pencils.
3. A way to take photos during laboratories.
4. A variety of colored highlighters
5. An electronic device with a timer for use during labs (phone )
6. Index cards if making flashcards is something that works for you.
7. A calculator with simple 5 functions. No special graphing or scientific calculators are necessary.
8. A sharpie will be used from time to time in class as well.
