First place finishes are hard to come by in one of the most competive regions in the state, if not the country. Senior Brennan Larusso managed to find himself finishing first in an impressive solo effort Friday to secure one of those hard to come by victories. 

Running under 17 minutes is a big deal, especially when you're rounding out the scoring on a team with high hopes for championship season. Freshman Gavin Bast and Junior Carter Mitton smashed the barrier for the first time on Friday, giving us the needed depth for the post season starting next week.
