Down some boys to sickness, the Varsity squad still placed second over a strong Skyline team and behind state favorites Ann Arbor Pioneer. An impressive showing at Bedford keeps high state meet finish hopes alive.

Ben Zapawa ran his 5th PR in 6 races at Bedford on Thursday. Coming into the meet, Ben had never run under 23 minutes. Thursday seemed like a good time to skip over the 22s to run a shiny new PR of 21:57!!

For many on the team, the season is nearly over. Less than 3 weeks from now, the majority of the team will finish the season at Jamboree #3, the SEC Conference Championship. Just a few more weeks of focus, sleep, and doing the small things to make this all pay off!!
