Parent Communication

Teachers can communicate with parents through Classcraft, allowing them to have a glimpse into the classroom and see what students see. Students can follow their child’s progress, send messages to the teacher, and (in the premium version) follow along with the curriculum through quests and interactive classroom content.

In order for parents to access these features in Classcraft, they will need the code printed on student handouts that is directed to parents. These codes can also be e-mailed through the invite parents button. Teachers must approve parent accounts! Parents can also add other children if needed.

Basic vs Premium

With the Basic (Free) Subscription, teachers enjoy gamified classroom management, customizable avatars, and parent interaction. Through purchasing premium ($96/year or $12 month-to-month), there are many additional features that both students and teachers seem to enjoy! These include countdown timers, noise trackers, boss battles (gamified formative assessment), grade converter (converts grades into XP), analytics, gold pieces to purchase gear for their avatar, as well as pets! The premium feature also enables content to be taught through the use of the game, creating a choose-your-own adventure feel to the classroom.

Free Professional Development

Become a Classcraft Certified Teacher by participating in the free professional development offered by Classcraft and showing your knowledge through a short assessment. This can be accessed in the Training Center at classcraft.com/training.

The support system within Classcraft is of epic (pun intended) proportions and gives easy to follow step-by-step directions. This support can be accessed in the Knowledge Center at help.classcraft.com.
