The Tray House ReplicaThe Tray House Replica
Jorge Alvarado-Castellanos, Salinas High School, Draft-Tech
The project is a replica of The Tray House found on lamidesign.com. I used REVIT and the floor plans provided by the original creator to find the appropriate measurements of each wall, doors, and windows. The REVIT redesign includes three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a dining area, a living room, an office, a garage, a kitchen, and is furnished.
Juan Islas, Salinas High School, MCC: Building Scaled Structures
The video shows my process to build my dream desk. It took me a while to finish it completely
Melanie Gonzalez-Fuentes, Salinas High School,Pre-Engineering
For this project, we had to build a car powered by a mousetrap. The criteria for this project were that its only source of power should be the mousetrap and it should be able to compete in 3 challenges: furthest distance, precision, and speed. Whilst the constraints were that teams could only consist of 2 people and could only use one mousetrap.
Nathan Ayala, North Salinas High School, Welding
My rose is not just a welding project but a piece of art. Most importantly it represents me with the untwined stem as a representation of feelings being covered up from the base. The separate roses symoblize two different sides of me.
Nicholas Hinds, Salinas High School, MCC: Building Scaled Structures
I made this desk in my woodshop class with Mr. Felice as my teacher. He helped me through the problems I had while building it. It turned out great and is very helpful for me when I have to do schoolwork or when I am drawing. It is very well built and can support a substantial amount of weight.
Noah Walker, Salinas High School, MCC: Building Scaled Structures
For this project I made it 28 1/2 inches wide to give me plenty of space and 47 inches long to fit perfectly between my bed frame and wall. It is made entirely of oak wood with a medium walnut stain. I additionally used a piece of oak play wood and cut the edges to fit perfectly between the legs to hold my computer.
