Exchange with Dresden (Germany):  Intercambio con Dresde (Alemania):

The 25-26 exchange with Dresden Ehrenfried-Walther-von-Tschirnhaus Gymnasium was carried out with students of 9th Year. 20 pupils took part in this mobility and 2 teachers accompanied them.

El intercambio se ha llevado a cabo en el Tercer Curso de Educación Secundaria. Han sido 20 los alumnos que han participado y 2 profesores acompañantes.

How do we choose our students? / ¿Cómo elegimos a nuestros alumnos?

Students are selected for the exchange taking into account the average of different criteria:

Los alumnos son elegidos para el intercambio de acuerdo con la media de diferentes criterios:

A) Attitude, work, and responsibility, both personal and academic, based on the criteria of several teachers.

 Actitud, trabajo y responsabilidad tanto personal como académica, basada en el criterio de varios profesores.

B) A personal interview will assess maturity, commitment, and fluency in English.

 Una entrevista personal en la que se evaluará su madurez, implicación, y fluidez comunicativa en inglés.

C) If two students have equal results in the selection process, priority will be given to students who have not previously participated in an exchange.

Si dos alumnos tienen iguales resultados en el proceso de selección, se dará prioridad a los estudiantes que no hayan participado previamente en un intercambio.

The exchange was carried out in two different moments through 25-26 school year.

German students and teachers visited Bilbao in September 2025, and Deusto students and teachers traveled to Dresden in April 2026.

During both weeks, various cultural and sports activities were held, in addition to spending time with host families. The results were very positive in terms of the development, linguistic, and life experiences of the participating students.

El intercambio se ha llevado a cabo en dos tandas.

Alumnos y profesortes alemanes visitaron Bilbao en sept de 2025 y el aelumnado y profesores de Deusto viajaron a dresde en Abril 2026.

En ambas semanas se han desarrollado diferentes actividades culturales y deportivas, aparte de la convivencia con las familias de acogida. El balance es muy positivo desde el punto de vista madurativo, lingüístico y vivencial del alumnado participante.
