CPC Visit to Tampa

The Provincial Council visited the Tampa area May 6-8, 2022. On May 6th (The feast of St. Dominic Savio), The CPC was very excited to induct 7 new Salesian Cooperators and establish the St. Dominic Savio Center in Inverness, FL. The CPC also had the chance to get to know our newly promised cooperators and celebrate beginning their vocation as a Salesian cooperators. It is always a joyful experience celebrating welcoming in new members to the Salesian family.

On Saturday, May 7th, The CPC joined Mary Help of Christians Center in Tampa for a formation day. CPC visits all areas in their 3 year term to build connection and community with fellow cooperators and to help understand the connection to the Salesian Cooperator Association and the Salesian Family. Sr. Denise lead a formation session on St. Mary Mazzarello who is an example for our cooperators to follow our mission on how to serve the young. families and the poor Nick, our province coordinator gave an overview of our Salesian Cooperator's province to help see the bigger picture of our association. Bernie, our province treasurer, educated us on economic solidarity. We had the opportunity to pray with each other through Mass and Lectio Divina that lead to fruitful conversations on service and helping others.
