Mr. W's class will explore character traits of Christianity with references to Biblical figures and examples, as well as stories from the Bible. We will relate today's experiences and our lives to character traits we are covering. Our memory work will correspond with the character trait we are covering for that week. Assignments and quizzes will be posted weekly.

Students will gain an understanding of their place in US History. During this year we will study major turning points spanning in US History from early 19^th century to the end of the 20^th century. Students will examine their faith and how it relates to the history of the United States. They are expected to build on past historical education in both US and World. We will analyze events and alternative ideas to decisions that were made. Topics of study include, Framing of the Constitution, Civil War, Reconstruction, Urbanization, Industrialism, Progressive Era, Spanish-American War, Imperialism, World War I, Roaring 20s, Great Depression, World War II, Cold War, Korean War, Vietnam War, Civil Rights Movement.
