Spring 2024

Battle of the Books is a county wide book competition for 4th and 5th graders.  Students read 15 books, as a team, and then compete against other schools testing their reading comprehension. (Each team member reads about 8 books).  

The questions are phrased, “In which book… does a young girl receive a pair of silver shoes?”  The answer would be “The Wonderful Wizard of Oz”.

This competition is not for everybody!  That is OK!  Battle of Books is especially for kids who like to read and for kids who are really good at remembering details.  BOB is for kids who are excited to talk about books, hang with friends and meet new people.
