As you know, we will start online school next week. My plan is to provide you with 1 or 2 brief Edpuzzle videos to complete each day (Monday - Friday). For next week, you will see the following review topics on these Edpuzzle videos: enzymes, cell theory, microscopes, types of cells, organelles, cell membrane, photosynthesis, cell respiration, and DNA basics. You will be responsible for completing these Edpuzzle videos each week. I plan on checking your progress on the weekend...that means that if you are busy and miss a day, you can make it up the next day. I suggest that you also use your time at home to check out old class material on our "Resources" or "SOL Review" tabs on my website. You can find resources that go with each of the Edpuzzle review videos on my website.
We will also have opportunities to meet on Zoom each day. Here is a link with my schedule and instructions for our Zoom meetings! Please email me this weekend if you are unsure about how to use Zoom so that I can help you learn about this new way of meeting. I am also available to speak with you individually or in small groups at certain times that are noted in the schedule. Please email me if you would like to reserve time to speak individually or in a small group!
School will be a little bit different for the next couple weeks! Please look for more information to come... For now, please reach out to me by email if you would like to or if you have any questions or concerns at this point in time. Otherwise, please check your emails and my website again on Monday 3/23/2020! In the coming weeks, I plan to help you review previous topics and then help you learn (online) about other kingdoms (fungi, archaea, and bacteria), the theory of evolution, and ecology topics... I will share more information in the coming days about how we will do that. But, more importantly, I plan to be here for you as a resource for you. I miss you and I would love to hear from you (email is the easiest way to reach me)!
