What is Social Studies UIL?
Middle School Social Studies UIL is an academic competition that challenges students to expand their knowledge of history, geography, government, economics, and current events. Through weekly practices, students strengthen their critical thinking, research, and test-taking skills while preparing to compete against other schools in Texas. UIL Social Studies encourages teamwork, academic excellence, and a deeper appreciation for the people, events, and ideas that have shaped our world.
