Easter for the Elderly

Omar Ponce, Cynthia Castro, and Maria Jimenez graciously donated time after school to put together bunny bags for the elderly at the Sage Crest Nursing Home.

Marisol Felipe helped fill bunny bags with candy filled eggs, a personal note from the Spanish Club members, and a chocolate surprise for the residents of Sage Crest Nursing home.

These cute bunny bags were ready to be delivered to some well deserving recipients.

Supporting other organizations/groups

This year the Soccer Lake View Maidens were District and Bi-District champions, and Spanish Club showed their support by providing goodie bags for the girls on their out- of -town trips.

Students collected many bags of trash along the Concho River at Kirby Park.

Sending some love on Valentine's Day

Spanish Club students gathered to color and make homemade Valentine's Day cards for residents at the Sage Crest Nursing Home.

December Food Drive

This year students donated 291 pounds of food. After a two week donation time period, items such as peanut butter, canned beans, canned grean beans, and many other canned food items were donated to help feed the hungry of San Angelo.

Angel Tree Shopping

Spanish Club Officers: Pablo Madero (President), Alyze Gonzalez (Co-Vice President), Marisol Felipe (Secretary), and Johnny Jimenez (Co-Vice President)

President Pablo came under budget, but he went crazy buying nothing but toys.

Alyze shopped for a baby, and she fond lots of cute clothes.

Johnny Jimenez was a bargain shopper, and he got a lot great deals while coming in under budget.

Secretary Sol found toys and clothes for her child in need while staying under budget.

Women's Shelter Toy Drive

Marisol Felipe took time out of her busy schedule to buy a gift and wrap it for a child in need at the Women's Shelter.

The Spanish Club officers spread some cheer by delivering gifts to the children at the Women's Shelter.
