Collaboration with Parents

In an effort to introduce career exploration and goal setting, we invited parents, siblings, other family members and community members to be a part of speaking panels. Two panels were presented to our students. The first focused on First Generation and the second concentrated on careers. The focus of the panels was for parents (family members) to discuss reasons for their career choice, their training background, goals they set, and any given advice they may have for students. The Career panel was held in our auditorium.
