Camp Edwards Important Information

Please save the date for this year’s Camp Edwards trip, held October 28-30, 2026.  Camp Edwards is on the shore of beautiful Lake Beulah in East Troy, Wisconsin, where our 6th graders have been visiting for over 20 years!  It is a time of personal growth for the students, as they participate in a variety of activities to grow in their faith, leadership skills, and build self-esteem, confidence, and relationships with their peers.  It's one of the highlights of a Sebs experience! 

The cost of the 3 day/2 overnight "camping" trip is $152 per student.  This trip is an elective trip, which means there is a cost for everyone. If your child does not attend, no worries, as they will participate in classes at school as normal.  If you have any questions about costs, or would like to arrange a payment plan, please contact Mrs. Runnoe.

The students of St. Sebastian are blessed to participate in a variety of classes while at Camp, but we rely on parents’ help to teach the classes!  The Camp Edwards staff makes it very easy for our parents (you!) to do so. You are given a lesson plan and all needed supplies.  We also need parent volunteers to chaperone overnight in the cabins.  All adult volunteers need to complete the safeguarding training and have a background check.   

Here are the important dates pertaining to this trip, for your planning purposes: 

• Between NOW and October 23rd:  Ensure you are Safeguard certified to attend! 

• Wednesday, October 21, 2026:  Permission slips and money due ($152) 

• October 28, 2026:  Students depart for Camp Edwards after the all-school Mass

• October 30, 2026: Students return to St. Sebastian around 1:00pm. We encourage you to pick up your child when we return, as they will be very tired and want to rest. We will communicate timing via the ParishStaq text messaging system.
