Ashland University - Visual Art Instruction Licensure K-12
In 1996, Erin received a Bachelor of Arts in Art from Xavier University with a minor in Biology. She continued her art training after college studying abroad as a Fulbright Arts Scholar in Germany. There she pursued illustration and sculpture at the University of Fine Arts Hamburg, Germany while traveling extensively throughout eastern and western Europe.
Upon returning to the states in 1998, Erin established herself as a Medical Illustrator, combining her love of science and art, in San Francisco. The majority of her medical art and animations were created for the medical research, healthcare and education sector. While in the Bay Area, Mrs. Delventhal started her career as an art educator in 2000 teaching painting, drawing, illustration and ceramics at the University of California, Berkeley Beck Arts Center and the San Francisco Institute of Architecture.
In 2003, she moved to Hawaii began her professional painting career, painting landscapes and seascapes, which she sold in numerous island galleries. Also during that time, Mrs. Delventhal helped to create, fund and establish an art program at her children's school where she continued to teach until 2013.
Moving to Rocky River in 2015, she obtained her State of Ohio teaching license in Visual Art Instruction (preK-12) and is now thrilled to be teaching at St. Raphael!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE ARTS AT ST. RAPHAEL SCHOOL!
