MY TEACHER SHOULD BE....

We had a wonderful Saint Matthew Feast Day. We celebrated a beautiful liturgy in honor of our patron saint. Then we were treated to Rita's Water Ice by Father Welsh.

Our School Walkathon was a huge success. Room 33 had 100% class participation. Father Farrell and Fr. Welsh joined us along our route. A fun time was had by all.

This year we have talked alot about how dogs help people. We read Aero and Officer Mike and had a visit by a police dog. This week, we learned about visiting dogs, and read Rosie, the Visiting Dog. Afterward, we had a very special visitor. Mr. Christopher Rocks (my son, of whom I am so proud) came to see us with his dog, Skye, who is being trained to be a Therapy Dog. Upon completion of her training, Mr. Rocks will bring Sky with him as he works with Autistic children.
