This excellent source of information regarding current media is a must-see for parents and educators. From the Mission Statement of Common Sense:

Sponsored by Focus on the Family, gives a very balanced rating of “family-friendliness” in movies based on Christian values.
Before watching a movie, search the title and view the parental advisory to see specifics about the content in order to decide the film's appropriateness for your audience.
This website, focused on music and designed for youth group leaders, is an excellent source of information regarding both popular and sacred music in the public sphere.
As their website states, this site focuses on “film appreciation and criticism informed by Christian faith.” Reviews films for every age group, including adults.
Another Christian review site that focuses mostly on movies, but includes some information on books and CD’s:

The Dove foundation also provides an icon on movies they have approved. There are three icons to look for when choosing a movie: “All Ages Dove Approved,” “12+ Dove Approved,” and “18+ Dove Approved”
