Famlies,
To encourage responsibility and reinforce learning, our class will begin using a test correction process for assessments.
How it works:
Your child will bring the test home for you to review in the Thursday Folder.
If you would like your child to complete corrections, please sign and return the Test Correction Slip with the test by Friday. A printable copy of the Test Correction Slip is linked here: Test Correction Policy (Printable)
Corrections will be completed the following Tuesday during recess with either Mr. Mangan or Ms. Reyes, so students may miss part of recess while they work.
Corrections may allow students to earn back up to 50% of the points missed, depending on the quality and accuracy of the corrections.
This system keeps expectations high while giving students a structured chance to learn from mistakes.
Homework Help (After School)
Homework Help is available for students who would like extra support with assignments and organization.
Schedule:
• Tuesdays, 3:00–4:00 PM – Mrs. Hudson’s Room
• Thursdays, 3:00–4:00 PM – Library
