Our new sacred action song is "Get it Read." The Second Graders love to sing and dance as they pray. They continue to review their note values and the letter names of the treble clef staff. Their repertoire is growing as they learn new songs while continuing to polish songs for upcoming performances.
They are working hard learning the accompaniment for Yo Tengo Un Amigo Que Me Ama on the Boomwhackers. It is challenging to sing and remember when to play.

These musicians reviewed our treble clef note names and the note values for whole, half, quarter and a pair of eighth notes. They had a great deal of fun using that knowledge to play the Boomwhackers.
They prepared the Responsorial Psalm for the September 8th Mass and sang a song in preparation for Hispanic Heritage month.
