Concrete Math
Mr. Campbell
Concrete Math
Welcome to 6th Grade Concrete Math.
In Concrete Math, we recognize that everyone learns differently. Concrete Math uses small group instruction, manipulatives, and visual aids to help students learn. Every fun and interactive lesson will increase student confidence and independence, preparing each student for life inside and outside of the classroom.
Student grades will be based on homework, assessment, and a weekly participation score. The weekly participation score is based on the information found in the table below. A high score means excellent participation. A low score means improvements are required. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions about your participation score.
Dr Bailey moved to the US from England in January 2023 to be closer to family. Dr Bailey lives in Fairfax with his wife, Julia, son, Henry, and daughter, Violet. Having a family has deepened Dr Bailey's interest in working with Elementary and Middle School children.
