Below are the details for the upcoming 2025-26 CCD Program. I have provided a few options for you
1) Regular School Year Program (weekly Sept. to May), grade level classroom instruction - Grades 1-7 in the school building:
Tuesdays, 4:30 - 5:45 pm
or
Sundays, 10:45- 11:50 am
This program is dependent on volunteer teachers and classroom assistants and class size is determined by the number of volunteers.
If you are interested in teaching, please contact me. Anyone who teaches or assists weekly in the classroom does not have to pay the registration fee. New Teachers and Assistants have to attend trainings
2) Homeschool CCD Program:
HOMESCHOOL CCD OVERVIEW
The children in the Homeschool CCD Program follow the same curriculum as the children in the school and regular CCD program. Here is a link to the curriculum: https://phillyocf.org/scope-sequence-charts/
Our Homeschool CCD Program requires a commitment from parents to teach the faith at home on a regular basis (weekly) to their children and weekly attendance at Mass.
One meeting at the beginning of the year:
Parents will receive all the books and materials for the year at this meeting: children’s text, teacher’s edition for parents, curriculum guidelines
Parents who are new to homeschooling will have an overview of the program at this meeting.
All parish families are required to attend weekly Mass and contribute to the parish (parish envelopes)
In addition to regular (weekly) Mass attendance and contributions to the parish, parents are required to attend 4 parish events designated by Mrs. Haggerty (examples: Forty Hours, Stations of the Cross, Parish Mission, adoration in the chapel, Advent/Lent confessions, etc.). When you attend the parish event, you will let Mrs. Haggerty know which one you attended. You can give a short message about the event or send a photo.
Each week, children complete the chapter reviews at the end of each chapter. Parents submit the completed chapter reviews to Mrs. Haggerty either via a photo in email or a hard copy. You can send them in every 4 weeks or so.
Mrs. Haggerty keeps a database of submissions of completed textbook work and attendance at parish events.
Academic year registrations are due (with payment) by August 31
3) Summer Program 2026: June 22-26, 2026
REGISTRATION FOR THIS WILL BE IN FEBRUARY OF 2026.
THIS IS A VERY POPULAR PROGRAM, SO PRIORITY REGISTRATION IS GIVEN TO REGISTERED AND CONTRIBUTING PARISHIONERS WHO ATTEND MASS WEEKLY
This is a 5 day program, Monday through Friday
Hours: 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM
This is for the grade your child will be attending in the fall of 2026
For all grades 1-6 and Confirmation Prep (7th)
Children MUST attend ALL sessions in person
Children (in grades 2 and up) who have not attended CCD before or have missed a year or more cannot attend this program
This program will cover the entire curriculum for the upcoming grade level. Therefore, children who attend the summer session do not have to come to weekly CCD during the school year.
Children in grades 1-6 also have to attend 4 parish events designated by Mrs. Haggerty
Anyone who teaches or assists weekly in the classroom does not have to pay the fee. New Teachers and Assistants have to attend trainings
