At Saint Andrew Academy, we welcome and encourage anyone who wants to give their child an education based in Christ with a strong academic foundation to come to the door. The Gospel of St. Matthew states: "But Jesus said, 'Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'” We focus on teaching language that will give all students a strong foundation in all forms of language acquisition: speaking, reading, listening, and writing.
"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page."
~St. Augustine of Hippo~
Academic Excellence at Saint Andrew Academy focuses on many levels of learning. While we maintain traditional teaching and learning, students also learn within the 21 Century Education foundations. 21st Century education is essential because it prepares students not just to absorb knowledge, but to think critically, collaborate effectively, and adapt confidently in a rapidly changing world. Education must empower learners to be creative problem-solvers, compassionate citizens, and lifelong learners. More than ever, education has the power to share not only careers, but character, equipping each student to lead with purpose and contribute meaningfully to their communities and the world.
"Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on fire."
~Saint Catherine of Siena~
Being a disciple of Christ is at the heart of Catholic education. It means more than simply learning about Jesus...it is a call to follow Him daily in thought, word, and action. Catholic education forms students not only academically, but spiritually and morally, guiding them to live as faithful witnesses of the Gospel. Through prayer, service, and community, students are invited to develop a personal relationship with Christ and grow in virtue. Discipleship in Catholic education empowers young people to use their gifts to serve others, stand for truth, and become compassionate leaders rooted in faith.
