Ryan Yebba Memorial Mental Health Scholarship
Eligibility: Any high school junior or senior who is interested in going into a mental health field may apply for this scholarship if they’re devoted to creating positive social change and progress in our schools.

BigSun Scholarship
The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student-athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in or what their capacity in that sport is.
Amount: $500.00
Application Deadline: Jun 19, 2024
The successful applicant will be a high school senior or be attending a post-secondary institute and currently involved in some sport at that institution or in the community.

Welcome to the Writers of the Future
L. Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future Contest is an opportunity for new writers of science fiction and fantasy to have their work judged by some of the masters in the field and discovered by a wide audience. No entry fee is required and entrants retain all publication rights. Entries in this contest are adjudicated only by professional writers.
Prizes of $1,000, $750, and $500 cash are awarded every 3 months! The writer of the grand prize-winning story receives the L. Ron Hubbard Golden Pen Award and an additional $5,000 cash prize!
Applicants may submit their original work (up to 17,000 words in length) of all types of science fiction, fantasy, and dark fantasy. Poetry will not be considered in this contest. Horatio Alger Career and Technical Scholarship
This Association reaches out directly to our nation's young people with a message of hope, opportunity, responsibility, and perseverance. This scholarship program provides financial assistance to students nationwide who have significant financial needs and have exhibited integrity and perseverance in overcoming personal adversity. The scholarships are given to deserving 500 students each year for the amount of $2,500 each.

Not be enrolled in pre-requisite courses
Demonstrate critical financial need ($55,000 or lower adjusted gross family income OR Pell Grant eligibility are required)
Be under the age of 35
Be a United States citizen
