In second grade we learn our social emotional lessons with the help of the 7 Habits of Happy Kids by Steven Covey. Each of the 7 habits is taught with a story that takes place in Seven Oaks with lovable characters.

This August we have our introductory lesson where the students meet me and and learn about the role of the school counselor.
Later in the month students will be learning about how to be responsible for themselves with our first 7 Habits lesson. This lesson will cover Habit #1 - Be Proactive.
