When was the last time you looked at your own hands and their intricacies and marveled at the miracles they are? There are so many miracles that we pass by in our day-to-day living, even the miracle of life itself and all of its joys and griefs.
We believe that we should enjoy art and writing, and while not all of these stories and poems directly deal with testimony in the traditional sense, we believe that the world testifies to the wonder of God and His creative power. He gives us breath, bodies, minds, emotions, and as St. Augustine once said,
"Men go abroad and wonder at the height of mountains, the huge waves of sea, the long course of rivers, the vast compass of the ocean, the circular motion of the stars, but they pass by themselves and don't even notice."
The writing and art you will find here are the products of the creative minds that the Lord has given our students and SAGU family. Some are raw, others are humorous, and all reflect their hearts and experiences.
Our feature article is the amazing testimony of Felicia Ramos, a SAGU alumnus working with a special population of women. We think you'll be blessed by how the Lord has moved in her life.
As you read the words of our students and SAGU family in this issue, may you take a deep breath and marvel at the beauty of God's world and its people.
