2023 scholarship winners were celebrated at honors night on May 10th.
$5,000 Monticello Area Education Foundation Gold Scholarship
These scholarships are awarded to Monticello High School graduating seniors who are attending a four-year college/university. Selection is based upon academic achievement or improvement, school and community activities, student goals, and financial need. (This scholarship is a one-time award)
Awardees: Estella Miller, Lucy Maxwell and Taylor Herman
$2,000 Monticello Area Education Foundation Four-Year Scholarship
These scholarships are awarded to Monticello High School graduating seniors who are attending a four-year college/university. Selection is based upon academic achievement or improvement, school and community activities, student goals, and financial need.
Awardees: Jack Brown, Mabry Bruhn, Tucker Williamson, Sarah German, Benjamin Williamson, KC Kelley, Jacon Elston, Biniam Lienhart, and Slater Goebel
$1,000 Monticello Area Education Foundation Two-Year Scholarship
These scholarships are awarded to Monticello High School graduating seniors who are attending a community college or technical school. Selection is based upon academic achievement or improvement, school and community activities, student goals, and financial need.
Awardees: Eriss Weber, Liam Sokolowski, Addison Bartlow, and Amber Bruce
$2,000 Kay Wilkey Scholarship
One scholarship is awarded annually a Monticello High School graduating senior who has been accepted into an approved education-related curriculum at a two-year or four-year college or university. Selection will be based on academic merit and community involvement. The recipient will receive a $500 scholarship four consecutive years (up to $2,000 total) if they are a full-time student, continue to pursue an education-related degree, and maintain the equivalent of a 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale. The recipient will be responsible each year to submit evidence of their pursuit of an education-related degree and current GPA.

$1,000 Stine Memorial Scholarship
One scholarship is awarded annually to a Monticello High School graduate or graduating senior who has been accepted into, or is already enrolled in an approved medical-related curriculum, at a two-year or four-year college or university. Acceptable fields of study include, but are not limited to, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, occupational or physical therapy, and speech pathology. The scholarship is based on academic merit.

$1000 Kenneth and Lola Mae Allen Scholarship
Awarded annually to Monticello High School graduating senior who is accepted into an approved education-related curriculum at a two-year or four-year college or university.

$1,000 Mitze Family Scholarship
One scholarship is awarded annually to a Monticello High School graduating senior who has been accepted into an approved education-related curriculum at a two-year or four-year college or university. (This scholarship is a one-time award)

$1,000 Natalie S. Mauck-McDowell Scholarship
One scholarship is awarded annually to a Monticello High School graduating senior who has been accepted into an approved nursing curriculum at a two-year or four-year college or university. Selection will be based on academic merit, (minimum high school GPA of 3.0) and community involvement. The recipient will receive a one time $1,000 scholarship. (This scholarship is a one-time award)
