Welcome commuter students! Here are some resources to help you navigate around campus.

Transportation

There is parking available on both campuses. Full-time undergraduate students are eligible for a parking permit at no extra cost. To obtain your parking permit for 2022-2023, register your vehicle online after August 1 at: https://garage.sage.edu/login.

With your Sage ID, you have free access to the CDTA buses and bicycles. Sage also offers free shuttle services to and from either campus. Click HERE for more information about the campus shuttles that run between campuses M-F, 7AM - 10PM and on Saturdays to Crossgates Mall and Walmart. The 2022-2023 Shuttle Schedule will be posted later in August prior to the start of classes.

Food

Wondering where to eat on campus?

Albany: Kahl Dining Hall, Hazel’s Café Library - 1st Floor (Grab and Go Option)

Troy: McKinstry Dining Hall, Buchman Pavilion, Lucille’s Café - Shea Learning Center (Grab and Go Option)

Additionally, there is a Food Hub on both campuses. The food hub provides canned and non-perishable goods for students who need them. You can find the food hub in Albany next to the Mailroom at the Administrative building and in Troy Room 102 at Gurley.

Lounges

Need a place to hang out between classes? In addition to the library we have other great spaces available on both campuses!

Albany: Freddie's Lounge (Kahl Campus Center) , Commuter Lounge (Armory)

Troy: Commuter Lounge (Hart Hall), Student Center (1st Floor McKinstry)

Library Resources

Shea Learning Center - Troy Campus

Sage Albany Library - Albany Campus

In both libraries, you will have access to books, computers, printers, study rooms, research resources. Offices of Academic Advising, Accessibility Services, Career Planning, and Student Success can be found on the third floor of each library.

Wellness Center

The Wellness Center offers a variety of medical and counseling services for students. You do not need to have Sage Health Insurance to be seen at the Wellness Center.
