Academic Integrity at SAE
Academic integrity is vital to academic excellence, and at SAE, we take it very seriously. All students receive academic integrity workshops throughout their studies to ensure they understand and adhere to our policies.
Orientation and Workshops
During Orientation, a dedicated workshop on academic integrity is conducted.
We also offer additional Academic Workshops outside of class time to ensure full understanding and compliance with the integrity policy. These workshops will be weekly on Tuesday and Wednesday in Lecturer Room 1 between 11:30 and 12:30, please see the calendar below for any updates.
Support and Guidance
If you have any questions or confusion about academic integrity, please speak to your facilitator or our research champions. They are here to assist you and provide the necessary guidance.
Consequences:
Failing to adhere to the academic integrity policy will result in various disciplinary actions. It is crucial to maintain honesty and uphold our academic standards.
We are committed to helping you succeed while maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity.

Learning Styles
The VARK model is a popular framework that categorises learning styles based on individuals' preferences for acquiring and processing information. The acronym "VARK" stands for Visual, Auditory, Reading/Writing, and Kinesthetic.
Visual (V): Visual learners prefer to use images, diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to understand and remember information. They benefit from seeing information in a graphical format.
Auditory (A): Auditory learners learn best through listening. They prefer spoken explanations, discussions, and other auditory methods. They may benefit from lectures, discussions, and verbal instructions.
Reading/Writing (R): Reading/Writing learners prefer written words to absorb information. They often benefit from reading and writing tasks, such as reading textbooks, taking notes, and writing out their thoughts.
Kinesthetic (K): Kinesthetic learners learn best through hands-on experiences and physical activities. They prefer to engage in activities that involve movement, manipulation of objects, or direct involvement in a task.
